- Prof. Vivek Bohara (Professor and Head, ECE Department, IIIT-Delhi) has received the prestigious CHANAKYA Faculty Fellowship from Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) IoT in IIT Bombay.
To honour & provide support as well as to gain knowledge and guidance in research from the experts in the domain of CPS, the Faculty Fellowship and the Chair Professor program are introduced by TIH-IoT. The TIH-IoT CHANAKYA Faculty Fellow and TIH-IoT CHANAKYA Chair Professor are distinguished positions for academia and industry professionals with rich industrial experience.
Dr. Bohara aims to utilize his expertise in theory as well as experimental testbeds in CPS domain in creating an end-to-end ecosystem wherein the ‘theory’ is not only verified through simulations but also validated through real-world testbeds. The learnings obtained from above will have usage in other verticals such as Industrial IoT, smart agriculture and healthcare which are some of the application areas that are envisioned by the TiH IoT.
